How to use the geotextile?

2018-05-02

Geotextile, also known as needle punched nonwoven geotextile, are permeable geosynthetics made of synthetic fibers through needling .Geotextile, also known as woven geotextile, which are permeable geosynthetics made of synthetics fibers through  weaving. Geotextile are one of the new materials geosynthetics. The finished products are cloth like, with a width of 4-6 meters and a length of 50 meters above. Geotextiles are divided into woven geotextile and needle punched nonwoven geotextile.

The applications of geotextile

1: isolation

Using polyester staple fiber needle punched nonwoven geotextile for building materials with different physical properties (particle size, distribution, consistency and density).

Materials (such as soil and sand, soil and concrete) are segregated. Keep two or more materials from losing, mixing and retaining materials.

The overall structure and function of the geotextile enhance the carrying capacity of the structure.

2: filter

When the water flows into the coarse soil layer, the water flow and permeability of the properties are made by polyester staple fiber needle punched nonwoven geotextile.

Paving the geotextile through effective interception of soil particles, fine sand and small stones, the stability of soil and water works can be maintained.

3: Drainage

The polyester staple fiber needle punched nonwoven geotextile has good water conductivity. It can form drainage channels inside the soil and make the soil structure more.

The remaining liquid and gas discharge.

4: reinforcement

Using polyester staple fiber needle punched nonwoven geotextile to enhance the tensile strength and anti-deformation ability of the soil, and enhance the stability of the building structure.
