PP Woven Geotextile
Woven geotextiles are produced using polypropylene flat yarns as the primary raw material. The fabric is formed by two sets of parallel flat yarns: one set runs in the longitudinal direction of the loom and is known as the warp, while the other set is arranged horizontally and is called the weft.
Through different weaving equipment and manufacturing processes, the warp and weft yarns are interlaced to create fabrics with varying thicknesses and densities, depending on application requirements. In general, thinner woven geotextiles offer high tensile strength in both the longitudinal and transverse directions, with longitudinal strength typically higher, providing excellent structural stability.
These geotextiles retain adequate strength and elongation under both dry and wet conditions. Woven geotextiles are also commonly referred to as spun geotextiles or split-membrane geotextiles.

GeoFanTex® WN (PP monofilament woven fabric geotextiles) are manufactured using either polypropylene tapes (tape fabrics) or yarns. The fabric structure is formed by interlacing warp and weft yarns. Made from polypropylene monofilament and tape yarns, these woven fabrics deliver excellent hydraulic performance and strong physical properties.
Mechanical Properties of PP Monofilament Woven Geotextile (GeoFanTex® WN)
GeoFanTex Geosynthetics can manufacture GeoFanTex® WN according to specific construction requirements. Minimum order quantity: one 20-ft container.
Woven geotextile fabrics feature key mechanical functions, along with permeability and soil separation or impermeability performance. Test data such as puncture resistance represent only part of the mechanical properties and do not reflect the full performance range. Detailed information on permeability, load capacities, and other technical specifications can be provided by email upon request.

Water conservancy engineering
Engineering applications include the design and compliance of seawalls, river and lake embankments, and riverbanks; bottom protection works; water diversion and irrigation systems; hazard prevention and mitigation measures; seepage reinforcement for reservoirs; land reclamation projects; and flood control engineering.

Applications include soft foundation treatment, slope stabilization, pavement layer construction, reflective crack prevention, drainage system installation, and green belt development.
Railway project
Applications include railway subgrade reinforcement, embankment slope stabilization layers, waterproof tunnel linings with drainage layers, and geotextile-lined blind drainage channels.
