The glass fiber geogrid, with high tensile strength and low elongation (less than 3%), resists deformation and maintains stability under long-term loads without creep. Its melting temperature exceeds 1000°C, ensuring excellent thermal stability during paving.

The geogrid is coated with a special treatment that ensures high compatibility with asphalt, keeping it firmly bonded to the asphalt layer. It also has strong physical and chemical stability, resisting wear, corrosion, and environmental factors.

Thanks to its mesh structure, the geogrid facilitates aggregate interlocking, restricting movement and promoting better compaction, enhancing load-bearing capacity, load transfer, and minimizing deformation under load.

Properties

The glass fiber geogrid is manufactured from high-strength glass fibers and is designed to provide long-term pavement reinforcement performance.


It features high tensile strength and low elongation, with an elongation at break of less than 3%, which effectively limits deformation under load. As a reinforcement material, it shows no long-term creep, ensuring stable mechanical properties even under sustained stress.


The geogrid also offers excellent thermal stability, with a melting temperature above 1000 °C, allowing it to maintain structural integrity during high-temperature asphalt paving. After special surface coating, it achieves strong compatibility with asphalt mixtures, enabling firm bonding with the asphalt layer rather than isolation.


In addition, the coated glass fiber geogrid provides outstanding physical and chemical durability, resisting abrasion, chemical corrosion, biological erosion, and environmental aging. Its open mesh structure allows aggregates to pass through and interlock, creating effective confinement that improves compaction, increases load-bearing capacity, enhances load transfer efficiency, and reduces pavement deformation under traffic loads.
