PP Uniaxial Geogrid
The polymer is in a directional linear state, forming a long elliptical network with an integral structure, featuring uniform distribution and high node strength. This structure offers excellent tensile strength and rigidity, creating an ideal system for force distribution and interlocking with the soil.
One of the key benefits of uniaxial plastic geogrids is their minimal tendency to deform (creep) under long-term continuous loads. Their creep resistance is significantly better than that of other materials, playing a crucial role in extending the service life of the project.
The interlocking action between the grid mesh and the soil forms an effective stress transmission system, allowing localized loads to be quickly and evenly distributed across a larger area of the soil. This reduces localized stress damage and significantly improves the service life of the structure.

PP Uniaxial Plastic Geogrid is produced using advanced “punch-and-draw” methods, ensuring high-performance quality. Initially, solid polymer sheets are punched to remove apertures, and then carefully stretched to achieve optimal molecular alignment within the uniform polymer matrix. This process results in exceptionally high ultimate tensile strengths, reaching up to 300kN/m. The PP Uniaxial Plastic Geogrid (GeoFanGrid® PPS) is made from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), following a precise manufacturing process that involves extruding the sheet, creating holes through punching, and heating it while stretching longitudinally.
